What makes the difference

  • Vocabulary firstA real stock of words before the rules: 1,519 words, reviewed as flashcards at the right time.
  • A pace you can keepTwenty minutes a day beat four hours at the weekend: the 4-month programme is built for that.
  • Reading from the startThe alphabet straight away, to become independent and stop relying on transliterations.
  • Standard and dialectOne to understand the written word and the media, the other to really talk, every day.

Read with or without vowels

Every course comes with vowels and without them, like the Arabic of newspapers.

ذَهَبَ أَحْمَدُ إِلَى السُّوقِ. اِشْتَرَى خُبْزًا وَمَشَى إِلَى البَيْتِ. قَالَ لِأُمِّهِ : نَسِيتُ الحَلِيبَ ! ضَحِكَتْ أُمُّهُ وَقَالَتْ : لَا بَأْسَ، سَأَذْهَبُ غَدًا.

Ahmed went to the market. He bought some bread and walked home. He told his mother: “I forgot the milk!” His mother laughed and said: “Never mind, I'll go tomorrow.”

Exercises are done in the document itself

  • Type your answers in the boxes of the PDF, with an on-screen Arabic keyboard.
  • Answer keys stay hidden until you ask for them.
  • The exercise's audio plays next to the page, slowed down or on a loop.
  • Tap an Arabic word: you hear it.

What does the free trial include?

Seven days to work through the first week of the programme, online: Arabic Course 1, Module 1 and the pronunciation module with their audio, their vocabulary as flashcards, the daily session, the practice tools, the Module 1 quiz and the community. No credit card. After 7 days, a personal offer awaits you.

I don’t have much time.

Twenty minutes a day is enough, and it is actually what works best. Every day, “My daily session” lines up your words to review, the step of the programme and a short listening exercise: no need to choose what to do. The 120-day schedule tells you where you stand, and you can restart it at any time after a break.

I am a complete beginner, I don’t even know the alphabet.

The method starts from zero. The Arabic Course begins with “Arabic in five ideas”, a guide to transliteration and the alphabet; Module 1 teaches you to recognise, join and read the letters up to a first short text. Every point is explained, with exercises and their answer keys.

Standard Arabic or dialect: which one should I learn?

Both, in the right order. Standard Arabic lets you read and understand the press, signs and media everywhere in the Arab world. The dialect (Lebanese or Emirati) lets you speak every day. The method starts with the common foundations, then takes you to the dialects and to dialogues in real situations.

What if the method doesn’t suit me?

You have 30 days to ask for a full refund, as long as you have not opened the advanced content, marked with a padlock in your space (details in the terms). And you can start with the 7-day free trial, no credit card needed.

How long does it take to make progress?

The programme is designed over 4 months, about twenty minutes a day. From the first week you read your first words; at the end of each month, a review shows you concretely what you have learnt.

Do I need a teacher?

No: the method is built for self-study. Every exercise has its detailed answer key, the audio gives you the pronunciation, and support answers your questions by email.

Which device can I use?

Computer, tablet or phone. The courses are read online, with your answers and notes saved; the site installs like an app on your phone, and your flashcards even work offline. The documents can also be downloaded as PDFs.

Is access limited in time?

No: you pay once, access is for life, updates included.
